This app is missing quite a few entries and is not up to recent available species..for eg. nothing on freshwater shrimps. Unless you know the exact name ,common or Latin, the search engine will not find it. No ability to cruise through photos or species to find something that might interest you. But for a buck ninety nine you cant expect too much. You are better off just googling. Its free.
I work at a pet store and I purchased this app to help me with some of the more specific names. It is a great catalogue, but the names should have a picture when you make a search so you dont have to click on 20 different tetra names before you find the right picture. And there should be a browsing button instead of having to type in a name to look for a specific fish. You should also be able to search fish by categories. For example, the region they came from, type of fish etc... Fix these problems and then 5 stars
While Im scrolling and watching photos and informations abut a fish when i press back it starts me from the first line i was watching. It should be updated to fix going back to search page. And some common names of fish are not written just the scientific name. Pls fix the app
I happen to be looking for some fish to put in the same tank together. And I downloaded this app. I am so thankful it gives you a picture, where the fish comes from, what kind of atmosphere it prefers, temperature of the tank, ph levels. This will enable me to pick the same type of fish that will succeed together peacefully. Great app Thanks!
